Make all the difference in your hair now!
Start shampooing your hair the right way!
Hair is usually very healthy at the roots, but the mid-shaft and ends tend to be dry and brittle. This is true because we over shampoo our hair as well as pile all our hair on top of our heads when we shampoo. Am I right? Does this look like you in the shower?
This picture is a BIG NO NO!!!
The ends and mid-shaft of your hair doesn't need to be scrubbed with shampoo. The run off of shampoo with clean the rest of your hair.
The right way to shampoo your hair is to shampoo the roots of your hair where there is the most oil. Massage your entire scalp this way, especially around your hair line where it tends to be the oiliest part.
Below is a picture of the proper way to shampoo your lovely locks. With your fingertips, letting your hair fall to your shoulders and massaging the scalp.
Many times the bottle will say rinse, lather and repeat. I REPEAT...do not do this. Everyday shampooing only requires one round. Companies just want you to use more of their product so you spend more money.
Save your lovely locks and your money this way! You will notice a huge difference!

Loving my Ken Paves "You Are Beautiful" book! How to tame fine, frizzy hair in winter? Best way to do that is to condition your hair, but avoid conditioning your roots because that will make your hair flat. Condition your hair two inches out from the scap to the ends - your hair is already healthy at the root anyway. And avoid hot water! How do I get rid of static hair? Drink lots of water! Humidifyer in your bedroom at night because the heat produces negatively charged ions that charge your hair and create static. Says hairstylist Ken Paves. My favorite right now: ColorProof Super Rich Shampoo & Conditioner

Loved this post from @gulfbeauty, add definition and beauty to your face by contouring. A great book for further education and placement is Making Faces by Kevin Aucoin. I will be making a post on my blog tonight about tips and my favorite products to achieve this look!!www.kellimillerbeauty.blog

Below is a picture depicting locations to put highlights and low lights.
Below is a picture from Kevin's book Face Forward. First off I feel like to really understand contouring you need to realize shading will cause receding and highlighting will bring forward. With that in mind learn your facial structure. Feel your bone structure and work from there. Different highlighting and contouring will cause different looks.

Look Younger With Makeup!
Try using a cream blush. Unfortunately, your skin starts to look kind of dull after 40, which means that your flat, lifeless powder blush isn't doing you any favors. "Cream blush adds a gorgeous sheen, especially to dry, mature skin, and it never settles into fine lines," says makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Apply on your apples and blend up toward your hairline to give your cheeks a youthful look. (Straight across the cheeks looks dated, Say Bobbi.)
TRY (my favorite!) Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pale Pink $25

The Right Shampoo: Sulfate Free. Stay away from sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) this is the main ingredient in dish soap. It strips your hair and scalp of its natiral oils and dries it out. There is no better conditioner than your own natural oils. Brands that I have in my shower and you should too: Pureology, ColorProof and Loreal Professionals. #kellimillerbeauty #hair #pureology#colorproof #beauty #lorealprofessionals #shampoo #haircare #hairtips#youarebeautiful #KenPaves

A good pair of tweezers can change a girls life!! Tweezerman tweezers are life changing! They are worth every penny! They cost around $22. Don't ignore your eyebrows they give you expression! The picture of my girlfriend Jess and I shows that you can have defined or a softer natural brow. Both are pretty, it depends on trends and personal preference.#kellimillerbeauty #beauty #beautytips #brows#tweezers #favorites
